We are seeking a full-time, confident Ophthalmic Technician to join our team. Experience is preferred but not required, as training will be provided.
As a fast-paced office, we are looking for a self-motivated individual with a friendly and professional demeanor. Strong computer, organizational, and communication skills are essential. The successful candidate must be flexible, willing to cross-train in various roles, and comfortable adapting to different responsibilities. Experience with Accuro is considered an asset but is not required.
Duties Include:
- Accurately recording patient information, including medical and ocular history, current medications, family history, and allergies
- Administering dilation drops
- Performing diagnostic tests as directed by physicians
Patient Diagnostic Testing:
- Visual acuity
- Intraocular pressure measurement
- Pachymetry
- Color vision testing
- IOL calculations (A-scan/B-scan)
- Fundus and optic disc photography
- Optical coherence tomography (OCT)
- Humphrey visual field testing
