Registered Psychologist or MSW Therapist -Independent ContractorJob Overview
Slade Counselling is a growing private counselling practice based in Calgary, Alberta, focused on providing high-quality, client centered therapy in a professional, supportive, and clinically thoughtful environment.
We are currently looking to bring on a registered psychologist or MSW-level therapist to support the continued growth of the practice. Haley currently has a full caseload, and while there may be opportunities to support referred or overflow clients, this role is primarily intended for a clinician who is motivated to build and maintain their own caseload within the Slade Counselling practice.
The successful clinician will have the opportunity to establish their own clinical focus and preferred client population. Depending on their experience and interests, this may include individual adults, couples, trauma and PTSD, depression, anxiety, stress, relationship concerns, or another defined area of practice.
This is a fully virtual role at this time, with the possibility of transitioning to in-person or hybrid work in the future as the practice continues to grow.
This opportunity is best suited for a therapist who is comfortable with the realities of private practice, including developing a caseload over time, building strong client relationships, maintaining consistent availability, and taking initiative in growing their clinical presence.
