Server
Duties:
- Greet and seat customers in a friendly and timely manner
- Take food and drink orders accurately and efficiently
- Deliver orders to tables promptly and ensure accuracy
- Provide excellent customer service, addressing any concerns or special requests
- Upsell menu items and promote daily specials
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure smooth order flow and timely delivery of food
- Clear tables and maintain cleanliness in the dining area
- Process customer payments using the new Square POS system
- Follow all sanitation guidelines to maintain a clean and safe environment
Skills:
- Strong time management skills to prioritize tasks effectively
- Knowledge of restaurant operations and procedures
- Cashiering experience, including handling cash transactions accurately
- Basic math skills for calculating bills and making change
- Familiarity with POS systems for order entry and payment processing
- Understanding of the food industry, including food safety practices
- Excellent customer service skills to provide a positive dining experience
- Hospitality mindset to ensure guest satisfaction

Please note that this position requires standing for long periods of time and the ability to lift trays or plates weighing up to 25 pounds. Prior experience as a server is preferred but not required.
