Job Summary
We are seeking a talented and personable Hair Stylist to join our vibrant salon team. Duties
- Perform various hair styling services including cuts, color, highlights, perms, and blowouts
- Consult with clients to understand their preferences and recommend suitable styles and treatments
- Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards in all work areas and tools in accordance with health regulations
- Upsell retail products such as shampoos, conditioners, styling tools, and treatments to enhance client satisfaction and salon revenue
- Manage front desk responsibilities including scheduling appointments, greeting clients, and handling payments
- Provide excellent customer service by building rapport and ensuring client satisfaction during each visit
- Stay updated on the latest hair trends and techniques through ongoing education and training
Skills
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to connect with clients and understand their needs
- Proficiency in various hair styling techniques and color applications
- Knowledge of sanitation procedures to maintain a clean and safe work environment
- Ability to upsell retail products effectively without being pushy
- Excellent communication skills for interacting with clients and team members
- Experience in retail sales within a salon setting is preferred
- Front desk skills including appointment booking, cash handling, and managing client flow
