Key Responsibilities
As a Financial Analyst, you will play a key role in providing accurate financial insights and supporting decision-making across the organization. Your responsibilities will include:
Financial Reporting & Analysis:
Prepare and review monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements to ensure accuracy and adherence to internal standards.
Identify trends, variances, and opportunities, delivering actionable insights to leadership teams.
Budgeting & Forecasting:
Work closely with departments to develop budgets, forecasts, and long-term financial plans.
Leverage financial modeling and data analytics to support strategic planning and resource allocation.
Operational Support & Collaboration:
Partner with operations, sales, and supply chain teams to support financial initiatives and decision-making.
Provide recommendations to enhance operational efficiency and profitability.
Special Projects & Continuous Improvement:
Assist with financial system implementations, process improvements, and ad-hoc projects.
Support initiatives that improve reporting accuracy, streamline workflows, and strengthen financial controls.
Qualifications
Education & Experience:
Degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field preferred but not mandatory.
5-10 years of experience in accounting or financial analysis, ideally within heavy equipment, manufacturing, or related industries.
Technical Skills:
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and financial reporting tools; ERP experience is an asset.
Experience with financial modeling, budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis.
Key Competencies:
Strong analytical, problem-solving, and attention-to-detail skills.
Excellent communication skills with the ability to present complex financial information clearly.
Proactive and organized, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
