About the Role
We're hiring a videographer to work closely with Dr. Amer Hussain, a multi-location orthodontic operator, entrepreneur, and the face of a fast-growing personal brand (@dramerhussain). This isn't a typical shoot-and-deliver gig. You'll be embedded in the day-to-day, capturing real moments across business, family, travel, and lifestyle that become the backbone of our content across Instagram, TikTok, and YouTube.
The brand is built on standards, not surface-level lifestyle content. Your job is to capture proof of that standard in motion. The clinics. The watches. The acquisitions. The early mornings. The trips. The unscripted moments that make the brand real.
If you've watched creators like Iman Gadzhi, Alex Hormozi, or any high-production personal brand and thought "I can shoot that," this is the role.
What You'll Be Doing
- Shooting on-location with Dr. H across daily life: clinics, meetings, home, travel
- Capturing long-form content built around real moments and stories
- Producing short-form vertical content (Reels, TikToks, Shorts) optimized for hook-driven storytelling
- Working closely with our in-house editor, delivering organized, well-labeled footage with a fast turnaround
- Potentially traveling internationally on shoots as the brand expands
- Showing up with minimal notice when a moment is worth capturing
Who We're Looking For
- Flexible schedule. This role rewards people who can move fast and show up when called.
- Strong eye for cinematic, high-end personal brand content
- Comfortable shooting solo: camera, audio, lighting, the whole stack
- Reliable, professional, and able to be a fly on the wall in private settings
- Open to travel, including international trips
Non-Negotiables
- Portfolio or previous work examples are required. Applications without a reel, link, or work samples will not be reviewed. Show us what you can actually do.
- Local to Edmonton. This is a hands-on, in-person role.
- Your own gear preferred (we'll discuss equipment in the interview).
- Valid passport for international travel.
Bonus Points
- Experience shooting personal brand or creator content
- Background in storytelling, documentary, or narrative-driven work
- Understanding of short-form algorithms and what makes content land
Pay: $20.00-$30.00 per hour
