Job Summary
Dirt-E Construction is a small excavation company based out of Halifax focusing on small to medium sized residential and commercial projects. We are seeking an experienced pipe layer to join our growing team.
Requirements
- Valid drivers license and reliable transportation.
- 2-3+ years of pipe experience.
- A positive attitude and safety conscious outlook towards work.
- Reliable, punctual & organized.
- Experience operating heavy equipment considered an asset but not required.
- Strong attention to detail.
Responsibilities
- Assist Heavy equipment with maintaining grade
- Connect pipes and ensure proper securement
- Measure and cut pipes to required length
- Check slopes to confirm compliance with plans and specs
- Follow plans for pipe route and depth
- Be aware of surroundings at all times.
- Operate small hand tools safely and efficiently
Skills
- Ability to perform a variety manual tasks
- Ability to read and understand plans
- Ability to operate required equipment and hand tools safely and efficiently

Job Types: Full-time, Seasonal
Contract length: 8 months
Pay: $22.00-$30.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 – 50 per week
