Construction Estimator
Our client is looking for an experienced Construction Estimator to support their estimating team in preparing accurate cost projections, evaluating project feasibility, and ensuring competitive bidding. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in construction estimation, cost analysis, and project coordination, with the ability to collaborate effectively with subcontractors, suppliers, and project stakeholders.

Responsibilities
- Review construction drawings, specifications, and contract documents to develop detailed cost estimates.
- Calculate material, labor, and equipment requirements for residential, commercial, industrial, and civil projects.
- Request and evaluate quotes from subcontractors, suppliers, and vendors to secure competitive pricing.
- Prepare tender submissions, bid packages, and pricing proposals for client submissions.
- Identify project risks and recommend cost-saving strategies to optimize budgets.
- Conduct site visits to assess project conditions and gather essential estimating data.
- Monitor project budgets and compare actual costs against initial estimates.
- Review change orders and prepare cost estimates for project modifications.
- Negotiate pricing with subcontractors and suppliers to secure favorable terms.
- Collaborate with architects, engineers, consultants, and project stakeholders throughout planning and execution.
- Maintain accurate estimating records, project cost documentation, and compliance with contractual requirements.
- Support project closeout activities, including final cost reconciliation and post-project analysis.

Qualifications
- Diploma or degree in Civil Technologies, Construction Management, or a related field.
- 3+ years of experience in construction estimation or a similar role.
- Experience in project coordination and collaboration with cross-functional teams.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Project and Microsoft Excel.
- Experience with BlueBeam Revu or similar take-off software for accurate quantity surveys.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
Pay: $85,000.00-$88,000.00 per year
