This position requires a Master’s Degree in Epidemiology, Biostatistics, or Statistics or a Master’s Degree in another field with exceptional experience with research methods. At least two (2) years of progressive work experience conducting advanced statistical/analytical studies and data management functions is required. Experience working with large datasets, multiple datasets, data management, and data processing is required. Experience in an academic research environment is preferred. Strong expertise in Stata is required, and experience with R is an asset. Knowledge of data management practices is required, as is experience with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel) applications. Experience with relational databases, data visualization tools, and programming languages such as Python or Visual Basic are assets but are not required for this position.
This position requires superior interpersonal, communication (oral/written), analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills, as well as the ability to anticipate, identify and solve inconsistencies with data, manage multiple projects with exceptional accuracy and attention. The successful candidate must be able to work independently and effectively in a diverse and interprofessional team. Bilingualism (French/English) and/or proficiency in a second language would be an asset.
Salary Range: $37.51 - $50.60 per hour
