Overview
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Electrical Apprentice to join our team. This entry-level position offers a valuable opportunity to gain hands-on experience in electrical systems within industrial and construction environments. Responsibilities
- Assist licensed electricians with installation, maintenance, and repair of electrical systems in industrial and construction settings.
- Use hand tools and power tools safely to perform tasks such as wiring, conduit bending, and component installation.
- Read and interpret schematics, blueprints, and technical diagrams to support project execution.
- Work on low voltage systems including control wiring and signal wiring.
- Support the setup and troubleshooting of electrical equipment and systems.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area, adhering to safety protocols at all times.
- Learn proper techniques for blueprint reading, schematic interpretation, and electrical code compliance.
- Follow instructions carefully while progressively taking on more complex tasks under supervision.
Requirements
- Basic knowledge of electrical systems or related construction experience is preferred but not required.
- Familiarity with hand tools, power tools, and blueprint reading is advantageous.
- Strong interest in developing skills as an industrial electrician or electrician apprentice.
- Ability to read schematics and technical diagrams is a plus.
- Willingness to learn low voltage wiring techniques and safety procedures.
- Prior construction experience or experience working with power tools is essential.
- Ability to follow safety guidelines diligently and work effectively as part of a team.
- Must be at least 18 years old with a high school diploma or equivalent.
Pay: $20.00-$30.00 per hour
