Marugame Udon is a fast-growing Japanese restaurant brand known for freshly made udon noodles and tempura. We are looking for energetic, friendly Team Members who enjoy working in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
Responsibilities:
- Greet and serve guests with friendly, efficient service
- Prepare food items including udon, tempura, and toppings
- Operate cash register and handle transactions accurately
- Maintain cleanliness of kitchen, dining, and prep areas
- Follow food safety, hygiene, and company standards
- Work collaboratively with the team to ensure smooth service
Experience
- Previous experience in food service or restaurant environment is preferred but not required; training will be provided
- Familiarity with POS systems such as Micros POS is a plus
- Knowledge of food safety standards, sanitation procedures, and proper food handling techniques is advantageous
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with guests and team members
- Basic math skills for cash handling and transaction processing
- Experience with food preparation, serving, cashiering, or kitchen operations is beneficial
- Ability to manage time efficiently in a fast-paced environment and demonstrate excellent teamwork skills
