Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled drywall taper to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in construction and maintenance person services, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team. This role involves finishing drywall sheets with tape and drywall compoun.various products ensuring high-quality workmanship and adherence to safety standards.
Duties
- tape and fill drywall seams with coats of drywall compound.
- cut and install corner beads.
- ability to work with semi automatic taping machines to ensure proper finishes.
- ability to lift heavy weight.
- Perform sanding after consecutive coats of drywall compound until desired finish is received.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure timely completion of projects.
- Maintain tools and equipment in good working condition.
- Adhere to safety protocols and regulations on job sites.
Skills
- Proficient in maintenance person tasks including construction,drywall work, and carpentry.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a collaborative team environment.
