Reports to: Production Supervisor
Status: Full-time (1 opening)
Schedule: Rotating Continental (7 shift x 12 hours)
The pay for the role is starting at $25.75/hour. Plus bonus, comprehensive benefits, retirement savings plan, paid vacation, and other perks and opportunities.
Purpose:
Reporting to the Production Supervisors, the scope of this position includes coordinating, supporting and facilitating effective, efficient and smooth milk receiving activities.
Key Responsibilities:
- Receives milk from the transport milk trucks and ensures the milk received meets all food safety requirements
- Maintains the rotation of milk used according to program requirements
- Maintains the raw area of the plant, ensuring the highest level of sanitation and product quality is maintained at all times
- Performs sanitation of all raw area equipment, related areas, floors, drains etc.
- Conduct Clean in Place (CIP) of associated tanks and lines
- Take accurate and detailed production and CIP records
- Maintains accurate documentation ensuring it meets Food Safety Program (HACCP) requirements
- Pays close attention to detail ensuring the consistent maintenance of time temperature and sanitation procedures
- Complete departmental MSS and GMP tasks as required
Qualifications:
- Great attitude and interest in contributing to a positive work environment
- Ability to work independently and as a team member
- Ability to be flexible in terms of shift work and perform other duties as required
- Food manufacturing/dairy experience and basic computer skills would be assets
- A valid driver's license and an AZ license are assets
Physical Demands:
Standing and walking, for extended length of time. Occasional lifting of materials to a maximum weight of 25 kg.
