Duties
- Perform a variety of hair styling services including cuts, color, highlights, treatments, and special occasion styles.
- Provide personalized consultations to understand client preferences and recommend suitable styles and products.
- Maintain strict sanitation and cleanliness standards in all workstations and tools to ensure client safety.
- Upsell retail products and additional services to enhance client experience and salon revenue.
- Manage front desk responsibilities such as scheduling appointments, greeting clients, and handling payments efficiently.
- Foster strong relationships with clients to encourage repeat business and positive reviews.
- Stay current with the latest hair trends, techniques, and industry best practices through ongoing education.
- Assist in training junior staff members when necessary, demonstrating leadership qualities.
Qualifications
- Proven experience as a Hair Stylist with a strong portfolio of work.
- Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with diverse clients.
- Knowledge of sanitation protocols and safety standards within a salon environment.
- Ability to upsell products and services confidently while maintaining professionalism.
- Strong communication skills for client consultations and team collaboration.
- Experience in retail sales within a salon setting is preferred.
- Previous front desk or administrative experience is advantageous but not required.
