Key Responsibilities
- Electronics and Mechanical automated NDT (Non Destructive Testing) inspection equipment setup and servicing including troubleshooting, repair, testing, calibration
- Direct communication with customers on-site, by telephone, or email
- Setup, testing, and servicing of NDT automated systems, predominantly ultrasonic systems
Minimum Qualifications
- At least two years electrical and mechanical equipment setup/servicing experience
- College Electrical/Electronics/Mechatronics/Automation Technician Diploma or equivalent
- Above average ability to independently problem solve
- Ability to work independently and/or with others to meet deadlines
- Desire to travel internationally for short trips many times per year
- Good dexterity and eyesight to work with small tools and components
- Good computer skills (MS Word, Excel, etc.)
- Good experience using hand and power tools, multimeter, oscilloscope, etc.)
- Drivers license
- Willing to submit to Federal security background check
- For security requirements, Must be a Canadian Citizen (Please do not apply if you are not a Canadian Citizen as you will not be considered)
Additional Desired Skills, Experience, and Qualifications
- Experience in ultrasonic and eddy current NDT a strong asset (otherwise, Andec will provide training)
- Use of personal vehicle would be an asset (to be compensated for mileage)
