Job Overview
- RDQ Engineering Inc,. is growing, and we are seeking full-time Project Coordinators to join our dynamic team. The successful candidate will work closely with the firm’s Principal and Senior Engineers on a variety of facility condition assessments, reserve fund studies, performance audits, and building restoration projects involving both existing buildings and new construction.

Job Duties & Responsibilities
- Assist Senior Engineers in conducting property condition assessments, reserve fund studies, performance audits, and building investigations.
- Prepare and maintain project documentation including condition assessment reports, site review reports, physical inspection reports, meeting minutes, project updates, and related technical documentation.
- Conduct site visits and field reviews to evaluate contractor performance and ensure project quality standards and deliverables are maintained.
- Review and interpret construction drawings, blueprints, technical specifications, and related contract documents for compliance with project requirements.
- Assist in the preparation of design drawings, scopes of work, tender documents, and technical specifications for repair and rehabilitation projects.
- Support quality control reviews and ensure compliance with approved design drawings, specifications, and applicable standards.
- Coordinate communication between contractors, subcontractors, consultants, and clients to facilitate smooth project execution.
- Participate in project meetings, prepare presentations, and assist with client communications.
- Liaison with project stakeholders to help ensure projects are delivered on time and within budget.
- Maintain organized and accessible records of all project-related documentation.
Qualifications & Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering, Building Science, or Architectural Science.
- Master’s Degree is considered an asset.
- Minimum 2-3 years of related experience within an engineering consulting environment.
- Strong communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and AutoCAD.
- Good Knowledge of the Ontario Building Code and/or National Building Code of Canada as well as common practice applicable design standards.
- Valid Ontario G Driver’s License and access to a personal vehicle.
- Ability to work at heights and access ladders, scaffolding, boom lifts, and swing stages.
Position Details

Pay: $65,000.00-$90,000.00 per year
