Great West Radon is Alberta’s leading radon mitigation provider. We are expanding our Edmonton installation team and looking for an enthusiastic, mechanically skilled individual with strong hands-on ability and extensive tool experience.
This role is ideal for someone who enjoys practical problem solving, working with their hands, and building a long-term career in a specialized trade. No ticket or prior radon experience is required—we fully cover your schooling and professional industry certification while providing a guaranteed daily rate during your training period.
Experience in plumbing, HVAC, gasfitting, residential construction, framing, or skilled installation work is a massive asset. A true jack-of-all-trades with strong mechanical aptitude is highly encouraged to apply.
What You Will Do
- Install residential radon mitigation systems throughout Edmonton and surrounding areas.
- Complete concrete core drilling, PVC pipe installation, inline fan installation, and structural sealing work.
- Assess residential job sites to determine proper system routing and placement.
- Perform basic airflow and pressure checks to confirm system performance.
- Load, organize, and maintain tools, piping, and materials on the company vehicle.
- Communicate professionally and politely with homeowners.
- Protect residential work areas and leave homes completely clean and organized.
Paid Training & Clear Career Path
We invest heavily in our field team from day one. Your compensation is structured to provide financial stability while you learn the trade, shifting into high independent earning potential once you are certified.
- The Training Period: * Guaranteed Base Pay: $150.00 / day (covers up to 6 hours on-site).
- Extended Field Time: $20.00 / hour for any additional daily hours.
- 100% Paid Schooling: We fully fund and cover all of your technical training modules, study materials, and official industry certifications.
- The Progression Path: Mitigation Assistant> Certified Radon Mitigation Professional > Independent Truck Operator.
- Once fully certified and operating independently, your pay transitions to a $250.00 per-job structure, allowing driven technicians to rapidly clear the $70,000+ mark based on installation volume.

- Must possess a valid driver's license and a clean abstract to operate company vehicles.
