Job Summary
We are seeking a friendly and professional Bartender/Server to join our dynamic team. Responsibilities
- Take and serve food and beverage orders accurately using POS systems such as Micros POS
- Prepare and serve drinks responsibly, ensuring proper presentation and quality
- Assist guests with menu selections, answer questions about food and drinks, and provide recommendations
- Handle cash transactions accurately, including cashiering and cash handling duties
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar and dining areas in compliance with food safety standards
- Ensure timely delivery of orders to guests while providing attentive service throughout their visit
- Manage multiple tables or bar stations efficiently during busy periods
- Uphold responsible alcohol service policies and verify guest identification as required
- Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth operation of the restaurant or bar environment
Skills
- Previous restaurant or food industry experience preferred, especially in serving or bartending roles
- Proficiency with POS systems such as Micros POS or similar platforms
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to engage guests professionally and courteously
- Excellent time management skills to handle multiple tables or bar stations effectively
- Knowledge of food safety regulations and proper food handling procedures
- Basic math skills for accurate cash handling, billing, and change calculation
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
