Part-Time Customer Service & Scheduling Coordinator
Elgin County Plumbing Ltd. – St. Thomas, ON
Elgin County Plumbing Ltd. is a family-owned plumbing company proudly serving St. Thomas, Elgin County, and surrounding communities since 2012. We are currently looking for a friendly, organized, and dependable part-time team member to help support our office operations and showroom.
This position is ideal for someone who enjoys helping people, has strong customer service skills, and is comfortable managing phones, scheduling appointments, and keeping things organized in a service-based environment.
What You’ll Do:
- Answer incoming customer calls and inquiries
- Schedule plumbing service and installation appointments
- Communicate with customers, technicians, suppliers, and showroom visitors
- Enter and maintain customer information in our software systems
- Assist with data entry, record keeping, and general office administration
- Help maintain organized schedules, job records, and customer files
- Greet and assist customers visiting our plumbing showroom
- Help maintain a welcoming and organized showroom environment
- Provide excellent customer service and follow-up communication
What We’re Looking For:
- Previous experience with customer service, phones, and scheduling is required
- Strong communication and organizational skills
- Comfortable using computers and learning new software
- Ability to stay organized, prioritize tasks, and communicate effectively while managing multiple responsibilities
- A friendly and professional approach when interacting with customers in person and over the phone
- Experience in a plumbing, HVAC, electrical, construction, retail showroom, or service-based business is considered an asset
What We Offer:
- Part-time position, Monday to Friday
- Flexible daytime hours (approximately 25–30 hours per week)
- Competitive compensation of $22–$25 per hour, based on experience
