Retail Sales Associate - Part time
This job is not a straight forward retail position, there are many things to learn and do. There are also periods when the store is very quiet and periods when it is extremely busy so you must be able to fill your time constructively. Shorter hours in the summer, more offered in the cooler weather and chocolate holidays.
Responsibilities:
- Greet customers and provide them with a positive shopping experience
- Assist customers in finding products and making purchasing decisions
-Making up beautiful boxes filled with hand crafted chocolates
-Be able or willing to learn to tie a ribbon/bow (harder than it sounds)
- Maintain a clean and organized sales floor
- Process customer transactions accurately and efficiently
- Answer customer inquiries and provide product information
- Monitor inventory levels and restock merchandise as needed
- Collaborate with team members to achieve sales goals
- Stay up-to-date on product knowledge and industry trends
Experience:
- Previous retail or customer service experience preferred
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
-Barrista training/experience and food safe level 1 an asset.
- Strong time management and organizational skill.
You must be willing and available to work some Saturdays
Able to work week days all year round.
