Job Summary

Responsibilities
- Lead and supervise the kitchen staff, including cooks and food service personnel, ensuring efficient workflow and high standards of food quality.
- Oversee food preparation, cooking, and presentation to maintain consistency and excellence in every dish served.
- Manage restaurant operations related to the kitchen, including inventory control, ordering supplies, and maintaining cleanliness and safety standards.
- Develop new menu items in collaboration with management, incorporating current food trends and customer preferences.
- Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and proper handling procedures to uphold health standards.
- Train and mentor kitchen staff on food preparation techniques, safety protocols, and customer service excellence.
- Monitor food costs and manage budgets to optimize profitability while maintaining quality.
- Collaborate with front-of-house staff to ensure seamless service delivery and guest satisfaction.
Qualifications
- Proven supervising experience in a restaurant or hospitality environment.
- Strong background in food preparation, cooking, and food service operations.
- Demonstrated leadership skills with the ability to manage a diverse team effectively.
- Extensive restaurant management experience with a focus on kitchen operations.
- Knowledge of food handling procedures, safety regulations, and sanitation standards.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
- Previous experience in the food industry or hospitality sector is highly desirable.
