We are a High-Volume Dealership, and we require a customer-focused and results-driven experienced Automotive Journeyman Technician to join our dynamic team in College Ford Lincoln.
Duties:
- Perform comprehensive diagnostics and repairs on a wide range of vehicles, including engine, transmission, brake, suspension, and electrical systems
- Use hand tools, power tools, and schematics to identify issues and execute repairs accurately
- Conduct routine maintenance services such as oil changes, tire rotations, and fluid replacements
- Perform mechanical assembly or disassembly as needed for repairs or upgrades
- Follow safety protocols during all repair procedures, including heavy lifting and working with potentially hazardous materials
- Maintain detailed records of repairs performed and parts used for each vehicle
- Communicate effectively regarding repair needs, timelines, and recommendations to ensure excellent customer service
Qualifications:
- Proven dealership experience or mechanic experience preferred
- Strong mechanical knowledge of automotive systems and components
- Proficiency with hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, and schematics
- Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and efficiently
- Experience in automotive repair, maintenance, and troubleshooting techniques
- Knowledge of vehicle assembly processes is a plus
- Excellent customer service skills with the ability to explain technical issues clearly
- Ability to work independently or as part of a team in a busy shop environment
- Valid driver’s license required; ASE certification is a plus
Hours:
· 7:30am - 5:00pm on weekdays. No Weekends and No Stat Holidays.
