Bilingual Accounting Manager (Korean/English)

About the Role
The Accounting Manager will oversee accounting and finance operations for the Canadian entity. This role is responsible for financial reporting, cash flow management, compliance, and day-to-day accounting activities while serving as a key liaison between the Canadian operation and global headquarters.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage full-cycle accounting, including AP, AR, payroll, general ledger, and month-end/year-end processes
- Prepare, analyze, and present monthly and annual financial statements and management reports
- Monitor cash flow and support budgeting and forecasting activities
- Manage banking activities, electronic payments, and trade finance transactions
- Ensure compliance with Canadian accounting standards and tax regulations
- Support audits and coordinate with external accounting and tax advisors
- Develop and improve internal financial controls and procedures
- Communicate regularly with headquarters regarding financial reporting and business performance
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
- CPA designation (completed or in progress) preferred
- 5+ years of accounting or finance experience
- Experience with ERP systems; SAP Business One experience is an asset
- Strong understanding of Canadian accounting practices and tax regulations
- Professional proficiency in both Korean and English
- Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills
