Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Labourer to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong work ethic, attention to detail, and the ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment. This role involves performing various tasks that require physical labor and technical skills, contributing to the overall success of our projects.
Duties
- Execute tasks involving manual labour, including lifting, carrying, and moving materials as needed.
- Operate hand tools and power tools safely and effectively.
- Assist in the assembly, installation, or repair of structures and fixtures.
- Follow safety protocols and maintain a clean work environment.
- Collaborate with team members to complete projects on time and to specifications.
- Report any equipment malfunctions or safety concerns to supervisors promptly.
- Participate in training sessions to enhance skills and knowledge relevant to the job.
Experience
- Previous experience in excavation, construction, landscaping, or a related field is preferred but not required.
- Familiarity with hand tools and power tools is advantageous.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints or technical drawings is a plus.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work well within a team setting.
- Must be physically fit and able to perform strenuous tasks as required by the job.
