About the Company
We are a premier, family-rooted food manufacturer and private label specialist with over 25 years of history in Quebec. Serving over 150 restaurants, grocery retailers, and distributors, we are currently in a high-growth phase and expanding our production facility in LaSalle.
The Role
You will be part of our Manufacturing Team. Your primary focus will be production of our products. This is a physical, fast-paced role that requires a keen eye for safety and cleanliness.
Key Responsibilities
- Ingredient Prep: Wash, peel, chop, grind, and measure ingredients according to specific recipes.
- Batching: Assist in mixing and cooking large-scale batches of [Product Name/Type].
- Quality Control: Monitor food quality throughout the process, ensuring everything meets our standards for taste, texture, and appearance.
- Sanitation: Maintain a spotless workspace. This includes deep-cleaning equipment, sanitizing surfaces, and following all food safety (HACCP) protocols.
- Packaging: Assist with bottling, labeling, and boxing finished products when needed.
Requirements
- Experience: Previous experience in a commercial kitchen or food manufacturing environment is preferred
- Physical Stamina: Ability to stand for long periods (8+ hours) and lift up to [e.g., 50 lbs] regularly.
- Attention to Detail: You can follow a recipe to the letter and notice when something "looks off."
- Reliability: We are a small team; if one person is missing, the whole line slows down. We need someone we can count on.
