What You'll Do
As a valued member of our maintenance team, you will:
- Perform preventative maintenance inspections and repairs on trailers and related equipment
- Diagnose mechanical issues and identify required repairs
- Complete repair work efficiently and safely
- Communicate parts requirements to the Lead Hand or Parts Coordinator
- Complete electronic work orders accurately and thoroughly
- Inspect, maintain, and repair fuel tank trailers and tank truck components
- Participate in scheduled safety and maintenance meetings
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment
- Work in accordance with all company safety policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements
- Participate in ongoing training and development programs
- Deliver professional and respectful service when working with team members and management
What We're Looking For:
- Apprentice Mechanic (Level 3 or 4) or Licensed Truck and Trailer Technician (310J)
- Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills
- Experience using computerized maintenance and work order systems
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Strong commitment to workplace safety and professionalism
Assets:
- B620 Inspection Certification
- Experience working on petroleum tank trailers and tank trucks
- Knowledge of engine diagnostics
- Experience with tanker trailers, dry vans, and reefers
- Experience repairing pumping systems and fuel transfer equipment
- GMAW and GTAW welding experience
- Experience performing repairs on fuel tank trailers and tank truck equipment
