Overview
Join our dynamic landscape maintenance team as a Landscape Maintenance Foreman, where you will lead and oversee the upkeep of beautiful outdoor spaces. Duties
- Supervise and coordinate daily landscape maintenance activities, including mowing, trimming, planting, pruning, and lawn care.
- Lead a team of landscapers and gardening staff to complete projects efficiently while maintaining safety standards.
- Oversee irrigation system operations, troubleshooting issues to ensure optimal watering schedules.
- Perform quality inspections to guarantee landscaping work meets company standards and client expectations.
- Manage equipment maintenance and ensure all tools and machinery are used safely and properly.
- Assist with landscaping design ideas and implement construction tasks such as planting beds, pathways, or retaining walls when needed.
- Provide training and mentorship to crew members on horticulture practices, safety procedures, and technical skills.
Experience
- Proven supervising experience in landscape maintenance or landscaping projects.
- Extensive knowledge of landscape maintenance techniques, including lawn care, pruning, planting, and irrigation systems.
- Hands-on experience with construction tasks related to outdoor environments such as installing features or garden structures.
- Familiarity with tree care practices and horticultural principles to promote healthy plant growth.
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate a team and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Knowledge of gardening best practices and environmental sustainability principles is a plus.
- Ability to operate landscaping equipment safely and efficiently; certifications in equipment operation are advantageous.
