We are seeking a talented and dedicated Chef to join our dynamic culinary team. This role involves overseeing daily kitchen operations, supervising staff, and ensuring the delivery of high-quality dishes that meet our standards of excellence. The Chef will play a vital role in maintaining food safety, managing food handling procedures, and creating an inviting dining experience for our guests.
Responsibilities
- Lead and supervise kitchen staff to ensure efficient food preparation and service
- Oversee all aspects of food production, including cooking, plating, and presentation
- Manage food safety protocols and ensure compliance with health regulations
- Develop menus in collaboration with management, incorporating innovative dishes and seasonal ingredients
- Monitor inventory levels, order supplies, and control food costs
- Train and mentor team members to uphold standards of quality, safety, and hospitality
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen environment
- Ensure timely serving of dishes to guests while maintaining high standards of quality and presentation
- Collaborate with front-of-house staff to ensure seamless service delivery
Requirements
- Proven experience in restaurant management or as a head chef with supervising responsibilities
- Strong background in food preparation, cooking techniques, and food industry standards
- Knowledge of food safety regulations and proper handling procedures
- Excellent leadership skills with the ability to manage a diverse team effectively
- Experience in hospitality settings with a focus on customer satisfaction
- Ability to work efficiently under pressure in a fast-paced environment
- Exceptional communication skills and a professional attitude towards service excellence
- Hands-on experience with menu development, food service operations, and kitchen management
- Previous restaurant experience is preferred; culinary training or certifications are a plus
Pay: $22.00-$25.00 per hour
