Lion One Metals is recruiting a Mill Manager for the Tuvatu Alkaline Gold Project in Fiji. This is a site-based leadership role responsible for mill performance, metallurgical outcomes, and coordination with mine operations and maintenance. The Mill Manager will drive safe operations, continuous improvement, and capability development of national staff.
Lead and manage mill and mine processing teams, including supervisors/foremen and technical roles (metallurgy, process control, filter plant).
Oversee process optimization activities: monitoring recoveries, troubleshooting performance issues, plant surveys/test work, and analyzer calibration/accuracy.
Plan and execute technical projects (scope, resources, schedule, budget), including managing contractors/consultants and contract administration.
Develop Fijian national staff through coaching, training, succession planning, and knowledge transfer from expat personnel.
