We love driving the Alberta countryside and taking care of our neighbors—and we're looking for a dependable Operations Foreman to help us run the daily field work and client scheduling.
The Role & Expectations
This is a hands-on, high-tempo role splitting time between running the shop/office and leading the work in the field.
- Field Services: Perform and oversee professional Furnace & Duct Cleaning, Carpet Cleaning, and Septic Tank Cleaning.
- The Business Lifeline: Manage the company cell phone during hours of operation—actively answering client calls, responding to emails, and keeping the schedule tight.
- Seasonal Pace & Work-Life Balance: This industry has seasonal waves, meaning we hustle hard during our peak autumn/winter rush to keep up with high customer demand. In return, we offer generous scheduling flexibility during our slower periods—as long as the phone calls are handled and the jobs are scheduled efficiently, we will gladly work around your personal life.
- Time Off & The Christmas Schedule: Paid vacation time is built into the role on an accrual basis and becomes available to take after a set period of employment. Additionally, we completely shut down field operations for 2 weeks over Christmas so you can spend time with family. While no physical labor is scheduled, you will be expected to keep the company phone and emails active during this shutdown to answer inquiries and actively stage and group work for when we reopen.
- Admin & Tech: Handle customer payments on-site using our Square app, keep equipment shop-ready, and manage basic social media updates (we can teach you the tech side!).
Qualifications
- Driving Skills: Experience driving a manual transmission and the ability to confidently operate a single-axle vehicle equipped with air brakes (we are willing to help the right candidate get their air brake certification). Willing to train the right person
- Clean Records: Ability to provide a clean Criminal Record Check and a clean Driver’s Abstract.
- Customer-First Attitude: Strong communication skills and a genuine enjoyment of meeting new people every day.
