About the Role
Medcentre Health is looking for a motivated, career-oriented individual to join our team as a Healthcare Administrative Assistant. This is an entry-level position designed for someone who wants a long-term career in Healthcare Administration, not just a job. Strong performers will grow into greater responsibility, with a clear path to a Manager position within 3 years (All 5 of our past managers grew up from the entry level position).
This role blends traditional administrative duties with digital responsibilities, including managing our social media presence and using modern productivity and AI tools to keep our clinic running efficiently.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide front-desk and administrative support, including scheduling, patient correspondence, and general office duties
- Manage and grow Medcentre Health's social media presence across Facebook, YouTube, Instagram, LinkedIn, and TikTok
- Perform bookkeeping and financial record-keeping using QuickBooks
- Use AI tools such as Claude Pro, Gemini, and ChatGPT to draft communications, organize information, and improve day-to-day efficiency
- Support office organization, filing, and documentation to a high standard of accuracy and confidentiality
- Assist with day-to-day operational tasks as the clinic grows
Qualification
- A recent degree or diploma in Business/Commerce, Health, or Engineering.
Skills Needed
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Working knowledge of social media platforms (Facebook, YouTube, Instagram, LinkedIn, TikTok) for business/brand use
- Familiarity with QuickBooks
- Comfortable using AI tools (Claude Pro, Gemini, ChatGPT)
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Good time management and ability to multitask
- Professionalism, discretion, and respect for patient confidentiality
- A proactive, adaptable, problem-solving mindset with leadership potential
Compensation & Career Growth
- Starting pay: $20–$23/hour, based on performance metrics
- Paid training provided
- Minimum 5% salary increase per year, per company policy
- Defined growth path toward a Manager position within 3 years, with increasing responsibility and pay along the way
Schedule
- Full-time position
- Max 40 hours per week
- Willing to work during weekdays / weekends but no night shifts
