We are seeking a Relief Pharmacist for a full-time, 1-month contract at a busy, well-resourced community pharmacy in the Fraser Valley, British Columbia. This position suits pharmacists who thrive in a collaborative atmosphere and enjoy working alongside a sizable, experienced pharmacy team.
With substantial pharmacist overlap and strong assistant coverage, you'll be part of one of the most fully staffed pharmacy environments in the region.
Position Overview
Role: Relief Pharmacist
Location: Fraser Valley, BC
Start Date: ASAP
Contract Length: 1 Month
Hours: 40 hours per week
System: Kroll
Compensation: $65 per hour
Pharmacy Hours: Monday to Saturday: 9:00 AM – 9:00 PM, Sunday: 10:00 AM – 8:00 PM
Environment Details
400–500 prescriptions per day
6 overlapping Pharmacists
6–8 Pharmacy Assistants
Strong operational support and workflow management
Fast-paced, team-oriented atmosphere
Established Kroll-based workflow
Key Duties
- Verify and dispense prescriptions accurately
- Provide patient counselling and clinical services
- Collaborate with pharmacists, assistants, and support staff to maintain efficient workflow
- Ensure compliance with professional standards and provincial regulations
- Deliver exceptional patient care in a high-volume setting
Requirements
- Licensed Pharmacist eligible to practice in British Columbia
- Experience with Kroll preferred
- Comfortable working in a high-volume pharmacy environment
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- Ability to prioritize tasks and maintain accuracy under pressure
