- Prepare therapy materials, set up equipment, and ensure a clean and organized environment for sessions
- Monitor patient progress during therapy sessions and document observations accurately
- Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare team members to promote understanding and engagement
- Maintain confidentiality of patient information in compliance with privacy regulations
- Participate in ongoing training to stay current on best practices in communicative disorders support
Requirements
- Prior experience working in acute care environments or pediatric settings is highly desirable
