CVNQuinte regularly required new employees as we grow and meet new demands for support.
CVNQuinte (Community Visions & Networking (Quinte) is mandated to support adults who live with an intellectual disability and who may also be Deaf, hard of hearing, or have a communication difficulty, and who need and seek assistance to enhance their opportunities to live interdependently and to access their community.
Support assignments are coordinated by a Support Coordinator and determined by each person receiving support. Applicants are required to have a fun personality, responsible, flexible and able to support people in a variety of situations.
We are currently seeking enthusiatic employees who can support themed weekend retreats. Each weekend has a different themes such as car shows, spas, cultural events, etc.
Weekend availability is essential.
The Community Support Worker team is uniquely flexible. Support ranges from providing help with daily home activities to a variety of interests such as learning to play an instrument, meeting new people with shared interests, playing a sport, or participating in a wide range of community events.
Successful candidates ideally possess a Developmental Service Worker Diploma or other Human service post secondary education are being considered. Personal Support Workers with experience in Developmental services will also be considered.
Successful candidates choose secure assignments anytime during the week (days, evenings and weekends) You choose your availability and commitment!! Our team is provided with full PPE as required and as essential service workers, they are provided with all the support they require to keep safe.
