Institutional Link is seeking a talented Full Stack Developer with strong TypeScript and JavaScript expertise to join our fast-paced, highly collaborative team. Working closely with a small group of developers, you’ll play a key role in building, improving, and maintaining our front-end and back-end systems to ensure seamless performance and integration across our platforms.
The ideal candidate has hands-on experience with HTML, CSS, Node.js, MongoDB, and the Angular framework, and is passionate about developing scalable, high-quality software in a rapidly evolving environment.

Launched in 2023, SecondaryLink is the leading news and data tool focused on the global private equity and alternative asset secondary market. We deliver daily secondary market news, research, pricing data, deal insights, jobs data and deal-sourcing tools for top secondary funds, investment banks, institutional limited partners, and asset managers.
ABOUT EVERGREENLINK
Launched in 2026, EvergreenLink is the market’s leading news and data tool focused on semi-liquid evergreen funds. We help investors, asset managers, advisors, and other private markets professionals track fund launches, portfolio activity, performance, capital flows, fees/expenses and key developments across the evergreen fund universe.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Develop and maintain models, controllers, and data processing logic.
- Write, test, debug, and document clean, efficient, and scalable code.
- Contribute to system architecture and design discussions to ensure high performance and maintainability.
- Contribute to the design, testing, and optimization of prompts and fine-tuning strategies for large language models
- Support the development and deployment of scalable AI-driven features and pipelines across company tools, data infrastructure, and workflows.
- Collaborate with the team to solve complex problems and drive innovation.

REQUIREMENTS
- Back-End Expertise: Proficient in Node.js and REST API development, with experience working with MongoDB databases.
- Front-End Expertise: Strong knowledge of the Angular framework (versions 14–19).
- Other Technical Skills: Proficiency in TypeScript (required), JSON, and GitHub.
- Education: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
- Experience: Minimum 2–3 years of professional experience as a Full Stack Developer.
- Location: Ability to work in-office, 5 days per week, at our downtown Toronto location.
NICE TO HAVES
- Awareness of best practices in data privacy, application security, and scalable software design.
- Solid understanding of algorithms, data structures, and system integration concepts.
- Demonstrated experience or strong interest in applied AI development, including prompt design and optimization.
- Familiarity with major LLM platforms (e.g., OpenAI GPT, Anthropic Claude, Google Gemini) and their APIs or developer tools.
- Exposure to product and design tools such as Trello, Figma, and Coda.

COMPENSATION = CA$71,000 – CA$82,500 per year
