Job Summary
The Landscape Delivery Driver plays an essential role in maintaining the efficient operations of residential landscape construction crews. The driver is responsible for purchasing and delivering materials, tools, and machinery throughout Edmonton and the surrounding area. The driver should have experience driving a truck and trailer and safely operating a dump trailer.
Specific responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Complete pre-trip safety inspections
- Purchasing and delivering bulk material from stockpiles and landscape
- Loading and unloading pallets
- Operating skidsteers
- Maintaining a tidy shop and yard
- Communicating with Project Managers to ensure products and supplies are on time
- Maintaining equipment, including greasing equipment and light mechanical work
Requirements
- Valid Class 5 License with a Clean Drivers Abstract and able to meet insurance requirements
- At least two years driving a truck and trailer
- An able body that can handle physical tasks all day long. Able to lift 75lb objects
You’ll need
- Steel toe boots, rain gear, gloves, and sun protection (hat, sunscreen)
- Reliable transportation to Shop (no public transportation available)
- Valid Class 5 license with a clean driving record
Compensation and benefits
- Wage would be between $22 - $26 depending on experience
- 1.5x overtime pay for any time worked after 8 hours per day
Expected Schedule
- Monday to Friday 7:30 am – 3 pm or until deliveries are complete for the day
