Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Pharmacy Assistant to join our healthcare team. Duties
- Assist pharmacists in preparing and dispensing prescription medications accurately and efficiently
- Manage inventory, including restocking supplies and verifying medication stock levels
- Enter prescription data into pharmacy systems with attention to detail
- Provide excellent patient care by answering questions and offering guidance under supervision
- Maintain proper documentation for medication administration and patient records
- Ensure the pharmacy environment complies with safety and health regulations
- Support administrative tasks such as billing, filing, and data entry as needed
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals to ensure timely medication delivery and patient satisfaction
Qualifications
- Prior hospital or pharmacy technician experience is highly desirable
- Knowledge of medical terminology, medication administration, and patient care protocols
- Strong attention to detail with excellent organizational skills
- Ability to communicate effectively with patients, pharmacists, and healthcare staff
- Basic computer skills for data entry and record keeping
