Pay: $22-$35/hour depending on experience, reliability, and whether the successful candidate supplies their own cleaning equipment and products.
I’m looking for a reliable, detail-oriented person to help maintain two upscale vacation rental suites during the busy summer season.
This position is ideal for a responsible high school or college student on summer break, someone looking for flexible work hours, or an experienced cleaner seeking supplemental income.
About the Property
I operate two boutique guest suites and take great pride in providing an exceptional guest experience. My property consistently receives outstanding guest reviews, and I provide thoughtful touches such as breakfast items and locally inspired hospitality. Attention to detail is extremely important, as I strive to maintain the highest standards of cleanliness and presentation.
Schedule
Hours are booking-dependent and vary week to week.
Most shifts occur between 11:00 AM and 4:00 PM between guest check-out and check-in and are roughly 1.5hrs-4hrs.

Responsibilities
Cleaning and preparing guest suites between stays, including:
- Making beds and changing linens
- Cleaning bathrooms thoroughly
- Vacuuming and mopping floors
- Dusting surfaces and furniture
- Cleaning kitchens and appliances
- Restocking toiletries and breakfast items
- Baking
- Washing, drying, and folding linens and towels
- Taking out garbage and recycling
- Checking suites for damage or maintenance concerns
- Ensuring each suite is guest-ready and presented to a high standard
Additional responsibilities may occasionally include:
- Grocery shopping for guest supplies
- Picking up cleaning supplies
- Basic property checks while I am traveling
- Assisting with small hospitality-related tasks
Ideal Candidate
- Reliable and punctual
- Strong attention to detail
- Able to work independently
- Comfortable following cleaning checklists
- Trustworthy and respectful of guest privacy
- Physically able to lift laundry baskets, make beds, and perform cleaning duties
- Previous cleaning or hospitality experience is an asset but not required
A valid driver’s license and access to a vehicle are considered an asset, especially for occasional shopping and supply runs.
