WPEMS is hiring for our roster of Alberta licensed Emergency Medical Responder (EMR), as well as Primary Care (PCP) Paramedics. EMR and PCP Paramedics to work on call from our Calgary. WPEMS provides local, regional and long distance ground ambulance, EMS, emergency medical standby, and first aid coverage for film and television as well as industry. Please be local to the Calgary area. This is a part time, casual call out role, in addition to longer term project work.
EMR and PCP staff work on our private ground ambulances as well as with our Mobile Treatment Centres and 4x4 remote medic industrial ambulances.
Medics with WPEMS have access to a wide variety of opportunities across an expansive list of clients throughout British Columbia and Alberta.
Exceptional pay is offered as part of this rewarding position. This position is ideal for semi-retired medics, or those looking to gain extra experience and exposure.
Year-round on call, as and when available position.
License required. New grads must have license, certificate of completion is not accepted. Class 4 drivers license is essential to the position. No application will be considered without a valid license and drivers license.
