We focus on providing top-notch training, coaching, and exposure to help our players succeed at various levels of the game.
Job Description: We are seeking a skilled and enthusiastic Baseball Coach to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a background in college or professional baseball and a passion for coaching and mentoring young athletes. This position involves providing personalized lessons in pitching and hitting, organizing and running baseball camps, and actively participating in team practices and Junior Prospects sessions.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct one-on-one baseball lessons, emphasizing both pitching and hitting techniques.
- Develop and implement effective training programs to enhance players' skills and performance.
- Lead and assist in organizing baseball camps, ensuring a positive and educational experience for participants.
- Actively participate in team practices, providing guidance and support to players.
- Assist in Junior Prospects sessions, fostering a positive learning environment for young athletes.
- Collaborate with coaching staff to create and execute training plans aligned with OPBC's development goals.
- Provide constructive feedback to players and parents, promoting continuous improvement.
- Stay updated on the latest trends and techniques in baseball coaching and integrate them into training sessions.
Qualifications:
- College or professional baseball experience.
- Strong knowledge of baseball fundamentals, particularly in pitching and hitting.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work evenings and weekends.
- Passion for mentoring and developing young athletes.
- Proven ability to create engaging and effective training programs.
