Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled and certified 310T Licensed Mechanic to join our team. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in tractor trailer mechanics . This role involves diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining a variety of vehicles and equipment Tis includes Cummins, Bendix ABS and Paccar. Ensuring optimal performance and safety standards. Experience in welding and electrical systems, HVAC is highly desirable.
Responsibilities
- Perform routine maintenance and repairs on a wide range of vehicles and heavy equipment.
- Diagnose mechanical issues using schematics and diagnostic tools
- Conduct electrical repairs and troubleshoot electrical systems within various machinery
- Operate heavy equipment safely during maintenance or repair procedures
- Use hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, and other specialized tools to complete repairs
- Follow safety protocols and maintain a clean work environment
- Assist in assembly or disassembly of machinery for repairs or upgrades
- Maintain detailed records of work performed for warranty or service history purposes
- Perform heavy lifting as required for parts replacement or equipment handling
Qualifications
- Valid 310T License with relevant certification required
- Proven mechanic experience with heavy equipment maintenance
- Strong mechanical knowledge across various systems including electrical, HVAC, hydraulic, and mechanical components
- Proficiency with schematics, technical manuals, and diagnostic software
- Skilled in welding, electrical repairs, assembly work, and use of hand/power tools
- Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and efficiently
- Excellent problem-solving skills with attention to detail
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate technical information clearly
