Responsibilities
- Greet customers warmly and assist them with their purchases, inquiries, and product information
- Operate POS (Point of Sale) systems accurately to process sales, returns, and exchanges
- Handle cash, credit, and digital payments with precision and integrity
- Provide product demos and upsell items to enhance the customer’s shopping experience
- Maintain organized merchandising displays to attract customer attention and promote sales
- Offer excellent customer service by addressing questions and resolving concerns promptly
- Manage time effectively during busy periods to ensure smooth checkout processes and customer flow
Skills
- Previous retail sales or cashiering experience is preferred, especially with POS systems and cash handling
- Strong communication skills in English; bilingual skills are highly desirable
- Demonstrated ability in customer service, with a friendly and professional phone etiquette
- Basic math skills for accurate cash register operations and transaction totals
- Organizational skills to keep work areas tidy and stocked with merchandise
- Ability to perform product demos confidently, showcasing features to customers
- Experience in merchandising, upselling, and technical sales is advantageous
- Excellent time management skills to prioritize tasks during peak hours
- Knowledge of retail environments, including inventory management and basic store operations
