Job Summary
We are seeking a creative and strategic Social Media Specialist to enhance our online presence and engage our community across various digital platforms. The ideal candidate will be responsible for developing compelling content, managing social media accounts, and analyzing engagement metrics to optimize outreach efforts. Duties
- Develop, implement, and manage social media campaigns across platforms such as Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, LinkedIn, and TikTok.
- Create high-quality, engaging content including graphics, videos, and written posts that align with brand messaging.
- Monitor social media channels for comments, messages, and engagement opportunities; respond promptly to foster community interaction.
- Analyze social media metrics to assess campaign performance and identify areas for improvement.
- Collaborate with marketing and content teams to ensure consistency in branding and messaging.
- Stay updated on the latest social media trends, tools, and best practices to keep our strategies current and effective.
- Assist in planning educational or promotional events that can be promoted through social media channels.
Qualifications
- Proven experience managing social media accounts for organizations or brands.
- Strong written communication skills with the ability to craft compelling narratives.
- Creative mindset with proficiency in graphic design tools (e.g., Canva, Adobe Creative Suite) is a plus.
- Classroom experience or teaching background is desirable, especially for creating educational content.
- Ability to analyze data using social media analytics tools to inform strategy adjustments.
- Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Knowledge of current social media trends and platform algorithms.
