On behalf of our client, Grand River Personnel is recruiting an experienced Production Operators for a full-time vacancies in Waterloo, ON.
This is an excellent opportunity for candidates looking to build a long-term career with an established metal fabrication facility. Successful candidates will be comfortable operating production equipment, inspecting finished parts, and working in a fast-paced team environment.
This is a FULL-TIME opportunity with the potential for long-term employment.
Hours of Work: Monday – Friday: 3:00pm – 11:00pm
Pay Rate: $20.00 – $21.00/hr + 4% vacation pay added to each cheque weekly
- Operate assigned production equipment safely and efficiently
- Load raw materials into machines and remove finished products
- Monitor production to ensure parts meet quality standards
- Inspect parts using gauges, fixtures, and measuring tools
- Deburr or perform light finishing work as required
- Complete production counts and quality documentation accurately
- Report equipment or quality concerns to the appropriate team member
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area
- Follow all company safety procedures and work instructions
- Perform other production-related duties as assigned
- Mechanically inclined with the ability to learn and operate production equipment safely.
- Strong attention to detail with a commitment to producing high-quality parts.
- Good manual dexterity and ability to perform repetitive tasks throughout the shift.
- Able to read, write, and complete production documentation accurately.
- Self-motivated with the ability to work independently while contributing to a team environment.
- Reliable, punctual, and committed to maintaining excellent attendance.
- Physically capable of standing for the entire shift and performing frequent bending, reaching, lifting, and repetitive movements.
- Able to lift up to 35 lbs. on a regular basis.
- Comfortable working overtime when required.
