Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Registered Dental Hygienist to join our dental team. The ideal candidate will provide exceptional patient care, promote oral health education, and support the overall efficiency of our dental practice. Responsibilities
- Perform professional dental cleanings, including scaling and polishing teeth to remove plaque and tartar buildup
- Conduct oral health assessments and update patient records accurately using cleardent software
- Educate patients on proper oral hygiene practices and preventive care strategies
- Assist with patient examinations and take dental radiographs as needed
- Ensure infection control protocols are strictly followed to maintain a safe clinical environment
- Manage patient questions and concerns with excellent customer service skills
- Collaborate with dentists and dental assistants to provide comprehensive patient care
- Maintain a clean, organized, and sterile work environment in compliance with OSHA standards
Skills
- Proficiency with cleardent or other dental practice management software.
- Prior experience as a dental hygienist is required.
- Strong understanding of medical terminology relevant to dental care
- Excellent customer service skills with a friendly, professional demeanor
- Ability to educate patients clearly about oral health practices
- Knowledge of infection control procedures and sterilization techniques

Pay: $48.00-$55.00 per hour
