Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated Production Facility Cleaner to maintain cleanliness and safety standards within our manufacturing environment. This role involves performing routine cleaning tasks to ensure a hygienic and organized workspace, supporting overall facility operations. The ideal candidate will have experience or interest in commercial cleaning and facilities maintenance, with a strong attention to detail and a commitment to safety.
HRS: 9am-5pm or 6pm as needed.
Duties
- Perform thorough cleaning of production areas, including dishes, floors, equipment, and workstations
- Maintain cleanliness of restrooms, break rooms, and common areas within the facility
- Use appropriate cleaning supplies and equipment to ensure effective sanitation
- Assist with routine facilities maintenance tasks as needed
- Follow safety protocols to prevent contamination or accidents during cleaning activities
- Document completed cleaning tasks and report any maintenance issues or safety hazards to management
- Adhere to all health and safety regulations to maintain a safe working environment
- Job will incorporate some food prep work as well, mostly portioning, mixing, vac sealing.
Qualifications
- Prior experience in commercial cleaning or facilities maintenance is preferred but not required; training will be provided
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Ability to work independently and efficiently in a fast-paced environment
- Knowledge of cleaning chemicals, tools, and best practices for industrial settings is a plus
- Ability to lift light to moderate loads and stand for extended periods during cleaning tasks
- Commitment to maintaining a safe, clean, and healthy work environment
- Reliable with good time management skills
