Technalogix is seeking an experienced and innovative RF Engineer to join our engineering team at our Red Deer facility. This is a full-time, on-site position, ideal for an RF professional with deep experience in amplifier and RF systems design across a wide frequency spectrum.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and develop high-performance RF power amplifier pallets across the following bands:
- HF, VHF-L, VHF-H, UHF, FM
- Microwave and broadband lab amplifier systems
- Design and implement RF filters, splitters, and combiners
- Develop and optimize PCB layouts, matching networks, and thermal management strategies
- Conduct RF simulations, prototyping, bench testing, and field validation
- Collaborate with manufacturing and test teams to bring designs to production
- Perform root cause analysis and ongoing design improvements
Preferred Technical Experience:
- Minimum 5 years of hands-on RF design experience
- Deep understanding of RF circuit design principles and impedance matching
- Proficiency with GaN (Gallium Nitride) technologies; experience with Doherty amplifier architecture is considered a strong asset
- Familiarity with industry-standard tools: ADS, Microwave Office, Altium, etc.
- Skilled in the use of RF test equipment: VNAs, spectrum analyzers, power meters, signal generators

Pay: $90,000.00-$120,000.00 per year
