Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled Auto Body Technician to join our automotive service team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for repairing and restoring vehicles to their original condition, ensuring high-quality workmanship and customer satisfaction. This role requires a strong understanding of automotive repair processes, attention to detail, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities
- Repair and replace damaged vehicle panels, frames, and other body components using hand tools, power tools, and heavy lifting techniques
- Assess vehicle damage and develop repair plans in accordance with dealership standards
- Perform sanding, grinding, welding, and painting to restore vehicles to factory specifications
- Use diagnostic equipment to identify underlying mechanical issues when necessary
- Maintain a clean and organized work area to ensure safety and efficiency
- Collaborate with team members to complete repairs within designated timeframes
- Follow all safety protocols and industry regulations during repair procedures
Requirements
- Previous dealership experience or automotive repair background preferred
- Mechanical knowledge of vehicle systems and components
- Proficiency with hand tools, power tools, and other automotive repair equipment
- Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and efficiently
- Strong attention to detail with a focus on quality workmanship
- Mechanic experience is highly desirable
- Good communication skills and ability to work well within a team
