Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled and experienced Journeyman/woman Electrician to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing electrical systems across various industrial and commercial settings. This role requires a strong understanding of electrical codes, schematics, and safety protocols, with the ability to work independently or as part of a team. The successful applicant will bring expertise in blueprint reading, industrial electrical work, and the use of various hand and power tools to ensure efficient and safe electrical operations.
Responsibilities
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical diagrams to execute electrical installations and repairs accurately.
- Install, troubleshoot, and maintain electrical systems including low voltage wiring, programmable logic controllers (PLCs), and industrial equipment.
- Use hand tools, power tools, and specialized electrical equipment to perform tasks related to construction, renovation, or maintenance projects.
- Diagnose electrical issues using schematics and troubleshooting techniques; repair or replace faulty components as needed.
- Work on both new installations and renovation projects across diverse environments, ensuring compliance with all safety standards and electrical codes.
- Collaborate with project managers, contractors, and other tradespeople to complete projects efficiently.
- Maintain detailed records of work performed and materials used for each project.
Experience
- Proven experience as an electrician in industrial or construction settings.
- Strong knowledge of blueprint reading, schematics, and electrical diagrams.
- Hands-on experience with low voltage systems, programmable logic controllers (PLCs), and power tools.
- Familiarity with renovation projects involving electrical systems.
- Ability to interpret technical manuals and schematics related to industrial electrical systems.
- Previous handyman experience is a plus but not required.

Pay: $45.00-$50.00 per hour
