Farlinger & Associates Ltd. is a young, innovative and safety focused company based out of Edmonton. We are currently seeking a full time Excavator Operator to work within our organization at our out of town locations.
Experience: 3 + years in civil construction
Requirements
- Must be able to bulk load trucks and cut grade
- Must be a finishing operator
- Run excavator and dozer
- Must be able to work independently with minimal supervision and as part of a team
- Must have experience working around pipelines
- Physically fit - strength and stamina
- Valid clean driver's license
- Basic understanding of construction principles and safety procedures
- Possess appropriate safety certificates such as First Aid and CSTS
- Adheres and promotes the company's HSE policies and procedures
- Willing to travel for out of town projects (including holidays and weekends)
- Must have reliable transportation
- Pass a required pre-employment drug screen, if requested
Assets
- Experience operating a variety of general heavy equipment such as skid steer loaders, excavators, plate tampers and forklifts
- Perform general maintenance of construction equipment
Remuneration
This is an hourly position and rate will be in accordance with the successful candidates abilities, skills and experience. Employee will receive LOA and truck pay.
